A selection of projects that show how I approach product design from problem to delivery.
How I Approach Design
A simple approach I use to move from early uncertainty to something clear and buildable.
Clarity
Understand the problem
I start by separating user pain points from business objectives. That usually means speaking to stakeholders, reviewing data, and clarifying what success actually looks like. Shared clarity comes before momentum.
Direction
Explore and sense check
With the problem framed, I explore possible directions and bring engineers into the conversation early. Modern AI tools make it easier to test and visualise ideas quickly, but those ideas still need grounding in real technical constraints. I validate assumptions through lightweight prototypes, user feedback, and internal reviews so uncertainty is reduced before committing.
Craft
Design with intention
Here is where ideas become tangible. I refine flows, build higher fidelity prototypes, and make interface decisions that feel coherent and usable. Feedback loops stay short so we can adjust quickly.
Delivery
Support what ships
Design does not stop at handover. I stay involved during build, clarify edge cases, and help resolve trade offs as they emerge. The focus is on shipping something that works well in practice, not just in theory.
Questions Worth Asking
What kind of role are you looking for?
How would colleagues describe you?
Have you worked in both consultancy and in-house roles?
How do you usually work with engineers?
Are you more strategic or hands-on?
What kind of working environment suits you best?
Can you share more detailed case studies?
